you would perceive it faintly
something like the Magellanic clouds
space would be dark and shadowy
partly cloudy
nothing like the pictures that make it look littered with galaxies. yes they are there, but barely. the density of the universe is lower than the best vacuums we can create on each – 6 protons per cubic meter

I find the globular cluster 47 tucanae above the Magellanic clouds
everything in the sky is ghostlike, if you look directly at it, it disappears. One needs to use their averted vision, the most sensitive part of the eye off center
